I am a well-travelled multilingual American educator with teaching experience in Kuwait, Turkey and the UAE, and a bachelor's degree from the Pennsylvania State University. I graduated in December of 2003 with a specialty in Information systems and international studies. During my time at Penn State, I travelled extensively to study cultures and mastered multiple languages such as Spanish and Arabic in order to fulfill the criteria of the international studies minor. In 2005 I received my first TEFL certificate in order to teach English as a foreign language internationally and in 2008 I completed a more intensive course for a TESOL certificate. In 2010 I completed an 8 months course to fulfill the requirements of an Australian Tafe qualification for vocational teaching in order to work at Australian colleges. My journey in international education started in 2005 and continues till today.
